Anissa

[The screen fizzles on to show Anissa, straightening some things on a table top. There's a Chikorita right in the shot at her feet, curiously watching whatever she's up to. But she doesn't mind its shadowing for the moment. Instead she turns about and smiles into the gear.

Or rather through it.]

Oh, did you figure out the controls there, Jake? Perfect! -and hello... I had a few things to bring up, so I'm sorry if this a bit of a barrage, but here we go.

I've been staying here in Goldenrod still, with Sisuca, and I'm happy to say things are going splendidly and the repairs in the city are coming along! And on a more personal note, I've added this little fellow- [She leans down and pats the Chikorita on his leaf top, making him fidget awkwardly and creep under the table.] -to my team, along with Miss Lily.

[She points to the left, leading the camera-mon to show a Lilligant, frowning quite confused down at her smaller Petilil cousin. Colleen for her part is trying to chat with Lily over something, but its muffled even to any viewing pokeys by Anissa's commentary.]

I'm afraid she joins us on account of Rinoa, and is still a little dazed... But I'm certainly happy to have her with us!

But, on another note... I have a question for everyone at large. [She waves the screen over to the table, and picks up one of many small baskets to show off dozens of Raust Berries.]

I've been collecting any berries or apricorns I've come across on my travels, and I planned to find some place to try and plant them, to see how they grow and if I could sort of mimic my family business here. But I can't imagine stopping my travels quite yet, and these are starting to add up, so... Does anyone have some advice on what I might do with them, for the time being?

Hello there.

[Here's one former farmer girl in an obvious forest scene. And she's looking quite happy, smiling down at the screen.]

I was wondering if I could get an opinion on what to do about something I've run into here in Ilex. You see-

[She turns the view to show her little entourage of Pokémon eating lunch. The Roselia and Ivysaur are sharing some food, with her Paras skitters between them for a share of his own, getting amused looks from the nearby Sudowoodo. A young Blitzle is near Anissa herself, and her Petilil? 

Her Petilil is eating a bit off on her own, but there's a Carnivine levitating over her head. It's not making any move to hurt her though- If anything it's failing at contact in general. Just hovering and staring and worrying its vines together. It tries to tap her once, but jolts back when Petilil looks up confused. Apparently this has happened before. And apparently Anissa finds it funny.]

He's been here doing that since we sat down. I would catch him, but if I do that he'll just be sent back to storage, before he gets to talk to her.

What do you think? Should I give him a chance before I try battling him?

[Here comes a video feed, showing the inside of a room that most might recognize as Pokémon Center accommodations! Except there's a half dozen baby pokémon plopped on and scurrying across the floor. A Deerling watching a Hoppip bob above its head, a Cherubi trying to poke some blue mass out from under a bed, a Budew and Bulbasaur snoozing together on the covers, and.

And a Snivy, suddenly up in the feed's view.]

Oh- Jin, I know you want to go back out but- I'm trying to ask about that.

[The view goes off the frowning Grass-Type to show Anissa, trying to look happy. And failing.]

So sorry- Um. I was wondering if anyone has advice, for what to do to give Pokémon some outdoor fun, outside of walking the roads or training. I'm doing that, of course, but I'm staying in Violet for a while longer, and I don't want all their time out and about to be about fighting, and...

Well, it's a little odd to say it, because I never noticed a problem until today, but...

I'm not certain I want the little ones walking around here.

[-and, feed out, right after a view of Anissa turning towards her brood, quite concerned indeed.]

[The screen fizzles into a view of the clear sky, before wobbling down to show the uncertain face of a brown-haired woman. The realization that she's finally turned on the gear makes her start, before she manages a polite smile.]

Excuse me- I'm sorry to broadcast like this, when I won't know anyone who answers- At least, I assume not... But I'm uncertain how I came here.

The books I have explain what I'm expected to do very well, but I'm afraid I have my own responsibilities to see to. I just arrived back home, before I was, pulled here...

[She looks off to the side, though whether she's focusing on the buildings of New Bark Town or the surrounding forest is hard to say.]

It's too bad I didn't find this place, when I was out on my journey... The land seems very fertile. And blooms such curious creatures.
