[The feed fizzles on to show a crowded mass of people, in what might look like a hallway of a department store to those who's never seen it before. A beat later and Anissa turns the video to smile at the viewers.]

Hello! I've just arrived in Goldenrod, and I planned to go down to the subway to find a ride to the Pokémon Center. But it turns out this is an underground shopping district. It's amazing how like the stands back home they are- the ones we put up during festivals! 

I haven't managed to explore the products very much yet, but I still wanted to encourage any visitors to Goldenrod to take a look. It's quite a sight! And...

[She trails off as she passes a stand displaying a bunch of plants out for sale. Glancing over it, she covers the feed speaker a moment to question the elderly seller, then turned back to the screen.]

Excuse me, but this woman has something to share about this world's herbal remedies! I'll be happy to share anything else I see here later, if you contact me.

[She pans out to show her Petilil and Deerling]

[Look who scooted between two stands just to get a look.]

So you are raising those two, as well?!

Yep! This is Cinbneca [she points to the Petilil] and Caycuh [aaaand the Deerling]. They're Grass-types, like you like!

Cinb- I'm afraid I'll have to practice that one.

[But now time for word struggles! She's too busy smiling down at both grasslings.]

So sweet- Did you catch them both during that influx of Pokémon recently?

Just call her Becca. S'what I'm doing. And...uh...well, Becca followed me home and Caycuh has a crush on Marble.

...Marble? As in Kathy's father?

That's so adorable!!

Is this your first "couple"?

I don't know who Kathy is, but it's the first time it's happened like this. Bibbo and Memo--my Gabite and Dratini--had a clutch of eggs, but they've been around each other since Memo hatched.

Oh, yes, the woman who sells the herbs. I have talked to her once or twice before, aru.

Ah- you have?

[She's turned the screen back on, and there's a small batch of herbs in her hand. But she's looking a little uncertain.]

Did you try using any of them?

Once, but my Pokemon didn't like the bitter taste at all. It did, however, replenish much of their health.

I sometimes give them Chinese herbal medicine too. They seem to like that better.

That's what the saleswoman warned me about, too. I was hoping I might find a way to make it more appetizing for my team...

Where did you find the Chinese herbs, if I may ask?

Perhaps boiling it in a soup may help? I've never tried it, though.

I find them in the wild, particularly the grasslands or the forests. I'm fortunate that this world produces many of the plants that grow in my world.

That may well do it- Or perhaps a tea, mixed with something for taste.

I heard there is a forest far south of Goldenrod, actually. Have you ever visited?

It really is amazing down there, isn't it? It's like stumbling across a secret stash of incredible rarities! Only they have a price tag... Usually one better than the big name brand stores.

It truly is! I will pack up on supplies while I'm here, for certain, and see what treasures I can find.

Do you have any expect advice to share on what to look for?

Ah, well... If you can afford it, buy in bulk? It's definitely cheaper if you're stocking up on travel supplies. Oh! And if you see any sales, be sure to swing inside the shop! Even if it's not the kind you'd usually go in. You might be surprised what you'll find...

That's a good point! I don't even know most things I could find in this world, so you never know...

I also heard our Pokémon can carry items of their own, besides berries, so I was hoping I might find some gifts for them...

--oh! They do do that from time to time. In fact one of mine has hold of a strange orb that I've never really figured out what it's for...

Still, that's very nice of you! I usually just make mine special food if I feel like treating them...

How curious. Do you know where it found the orb?

That's one thing I'm still trying to figure out - the best things I can do for my team. But cooking for them sounds like a splendid thing.

Oh, I'm in Celadon City right now! I took the Magnet Train to Saffron City...it's the biggest city in Johto, I think. It's a lot like Goldenrod!

So what did you find out about those herbal remedies?

Oh my, I didn't even see those on the map! This land must be even bigger than I thought...

I was told they are very effective healers... But that most pokemon don't care for them, in this state. It tastes too bitter, even for those that like bitter food.

[Video] I'm really enjoying it! I need to start making Anissa my friend, though...

They weren't here the last time I was here! I had to have someone show them to me, but they're very interesting places.

Hmmm...that sounds familiar. Kind of like how children won't eat their vegetables.

[Video] Herbal tea from foraged herbs is good for that! It's a handy general gift.

-the land literally expands here? Or, no- I assume you mean, we can access more places now?

But, I'm really not certain. Over all I haven't had much trouble getting my team to eat well and avoid bad food.
