Hello! I just wanted to show my progress with my Budew! And since she's found such a tough little Caterpie, we've decided to try and catch it! Just a little more now...

Okay, Ruth! Absorb!

[Here you go, watchers. One tiny little bud is fighting a bug that actually dwarfs her in size. But indeed, the health-sapping attack helps bring the Caterpie down to a struggling faint, and the Gear swerves a bit as Anissa apparently throws her pokéball-

Just as a loud noise comes from behind her, and this drifts right into sight.]


-what?!

[Too late, the pokéball grabs the wrong target, and against the odds (or, with the help of a willing victim) the capture is made.

Enjoy the silence of shocked Anissa, confused Budew, and escaping Caterpie, before the feed suddenly cuts out.]

Yeah, it's good that they all get along. A lot easier than dealing with my soldiers back home.

Yeah, I'm lucky there.

Right. I'm in the marines back in my world. [Shows off the back of his jacket which spells out "justice" in kanji and Chinese, though he's gotten used to not everyone being able to read it, never mind recognize.] It's militia, navy, and law enforcement all rolled into one. We mostly deal with pirates or other criminal organizations too big or widespread for individual countries.

[Well, she can likely catch half of that, but it doesn't really matter. She's properly impressed either way!]

That's, quite a responsibility! I didn't even consider pirates a- It's quite something, that there's someone there to protect the peace of the oceans. A lot of countries must be indebted to you.

[Snorts.] Not exactly. The World Government is in charge of the marines, and the countries are generally more frustrated that pirates still exist regardless of the efforts made by the government.

...I can't say I know what that's like. I've never met a pirate, or heard of that trouble back home.

Do they hurt people often?

Pirates? Yes. They're a problem.
