Excuse me- I'm sorry to broadcast like this, when I won't know anyone who answers- At least, I assume not... But I'm uncertain how I came here.

The books I have explain what I'm expected to do very well, but I'm afraid I have my own responsibilities to see to. I just arrived back home, before I was, pulled here...

[She looks off to the side, though whether she's focusing on the buildings of New Bark Town or the surrounding forest is hard to say.]

It's too bad I didn't find this place, when I was out on my journey... The land seems very fertile. And blooms such curious creatures.

[That brings on a brief show of cheer among her worrying, focused down at something at her feet. There's the unmistakable call of a Pokémon- And the call shorts out.]

Or... Do they vary even more than that?

There's as much variation in them as there is in people! Near endless possibilities!

... but, ah... If you want to see plants or trees, you'll be wanting to invest in Grass types.

So, there's still enough of this type of creature to have their own category? [Such relief!] I wonder how many there are, or if I could possibly find or raise them all properly...

Do you have a favorite sort of... Pokémon?

Mm! There are a bunch of different types, but it would be kind of boring to just list them all out for you... If you want to raise them all though, you really are in for a epic challenge.

--as for my favorite though, I admit I favor the cute ones a little... I don't have any actual preferences though!

Oh? Then maybe our favorites will overlap! I've only seen one so far, but this "Grass-Type" is cute!

Eheh... That's entirely possible~! The only Grass Type I really know is Bellossom from one that a friend had, and they were absolutely adorable.

See? That's further proof right there!

But, I would like to see how many more, sweet "Grass Types" there are... So I suppose this traveling isn't a bad idea, after all!

Oh, it's not a bad idea at all! It can be one of the most enjoyable parts of being here, provided you don't mind camping.

That's no trouble! I just finished a trip where I needed to, and I was given supplies...

But, does everyone in this land have to camp? I would hope all the renting space in town is taken up.

Not at all! That's just while you're traveling. There's always a hotel or inn in town with a vacancy...

Well, aside from New Bark, which might be why most people leave right away.

I can understand- Though getting locked out of the "mother" figure's home was a good hint to move forward, too.

Ahaha... Yeah... She's quite forceful about that, isn't she? A very "Go get 'em!" mother figure.

Very much so! But, it is rather motivating...

Even if there wasn't much of an option, she certainly sets the stage for a long trip!

I'll admit... it would be a lot nicer if she gave you more than one lunch though. It worries me thinking about how some people can't ration that.

Are there no plants to forage along the way, to supplement the lunch? I admit, I don't know everything that grows here yet, but I'd think some berries or herbs would be edible.

---aahhh!!! S-Stay away from the berries, Miss! Those are only for Pokemon! You'll end up wishing you were near a hospital if you eat some...!

...! The, berries and plants are just for them? Then, what do we eat?

Surely not just meat!!

Oh, no no, not in that broad a sense! It's just any berries that you find growing on trees you need to avoid at all costs... Those are exclusively for the Pokemon.

Oh... What a curious, specific rule...

But, thank you for telling me. I would have wondered about any I came across, and probably judged them edible, if my Pokémon didn't fear it.

Haaaa... I'm glad I could tell you! Having to witness a girl experience what they commonly put you through if you consume them... Ha. It would have been horrible.

...what sort of side effects do these berries have?

The kind that leave you wanting to rush to a bathroom or feeling as if you can't taste anything for a whole day.
