[The screen fizzles into a view of the clear sky, before wobbling down to show the uncertain face of a brown-haired woman. The realization that she's finally turned on the gear makes her start, before she manages a polite smile.]

Excuse me- I'm sorry to broadcast like this, when I won't know anyone who answers- At least, I assume not... But I'm uncertain how I came here.

The books I have explain what I'm expected to do very well, but I'm afraid I have my own responsibilities to see to. I just arrived back home, before I was, pulled here...

[She looks off to the side, though whether she's focusing on the buildings of New Bark Town or the surrounding forest is hard to say.]

It's too bad I didn't find this place, when I was out on my journey... The land seems very fertile. And blooms such curious creatures.

[That brings on a brief show of cheer among her worrying, focused down at something at her feet. There's the unmistakable call of a Pokémon- And the call shorts out.]

I should be fine, with something as special as this Budew with me, and I plan to keep note of anything interesting I come across.

--ah? Oh! If you want to try that, I think there are certain places along some of the routes that have perfect soil for it. I've never tried it myself, but I hear it can have some impressive results.

Oh, you're a farmer, right? If you go north from Goldenrod, and then...East! You'll find a farm there. You should visit it. It's one of my favorite places here.

It's pretty easy not to, most of the time. I'm sure you'll be fine with it.

There are? I'll have to stay on the road somewhere a while, just to test it out! Do you think the soil can be potted?

...I certainly will, if I can! It's sounds like the perfect place to visit, and ask my questions about the crops here...

Mmm.. I'm not sure! I don't see why it couldn't be... Though it might be tough to carry around a potted plant in a place like this. The bags we get are impressive, but they aren't that hammer space powered...

...I don't know what "hammer space" power is, but I think I see your point.

Perhaps I should wait to find some place to store it, or land to work on before I experiment with that.

Yeah, that would be a good idea! It would be pretty tough to manage that kind of thing without a place to call your own.

... ah! Wait, there's always Seta-san's Breeding Center, if you don't mind working there.

-I'm afraid I wouldn't know either way, yet.

I've read a little about breeding in those books, but what's the Center for?

It's a place established by Seta-san to focus solely on breeding eggs to sell them! I'm fairly certain he's looking for more help right now, so you could always ask to help when you reach Goldenrod...

Oh, oh, if it's crops...there's actually a flowershop in Goldenrod you should visit instead! The farm I mentioned is a milk farm, I think.

Oh, I love flowers! Grant it, I am still curious about the farm - My neighbors at home have a ranch, too - but, I know more about raising flowers than livestock.

[...again, lucky the little Pokémon at her feet is a Grass-Type!]

Hmm... I'll have to see how I adjust to raising Pokémon instead of plants, first. But I would be happy to help if I can!

I'm Anissa- and no matter how it turns out with the Breeding Centre? Hopefully I could make some friends there, so I would appreciate the help

Now you have two places to visit, then! There's a lot more to see than that, too...so you'll have plenty of fun, I think!

And that's just perfect! I've found a number of new things growing along the road already, and having places to travel to- I can come across even more new plants along the way!

But- Oh- What were you most excited to see, as you traveled?

Hmm...I think it was Goldenrod City. I'd never been in a city like that before, with picture screens and big electronic lights...it was really interesting!

I, that must be a sight to see... My home has things like that, but we're a very small town, so I've never seen a great many people crowded together before.

I'm from a small hamlet myself. There's so many people here, it's really overwhelming.
